DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A woman was shot in the neck after a custody exchange at a Dallas Walmart spiraled out of control.
It happened in the parking lot of the Walmart off of Samuel Boulevard near South Buckner Sunday evening.
Dallas Police said two women got into a physical fight and one of them pulled a gun.
An off-duty Fannin County officer working at Walmart heard the shots and responded. He saw the woman with the gun run across the parking lot.
Police said she fired at the officer and he shot back. Neither one was injured in the crossfire. The shooter is in jail and the condition of the victim is unknown.
