DFW Airport Hands Out Free Premium Parking Passes to 1,000 Lucky Travelers

DFW AIRPORT 1DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – As thousands of travelers flocked to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport today for Thanksgiving, 1,000 lucky people lined up to get a free parking pass.

Starting at 6 a.m., the airport handed out seven-day parking vouchers to the first 1,000 cars to enter its Plaza Parking Lot. The airport’s Cynthia Vega said it’s a ticket to the head of the class.

“It gets you very close to the terminal. That’s much less time that you need to get everything out of the car, get your children in hand, walk a much shorter distance, get to through security and to your gate in a much quicker process,” she said.

She said the pass saves travelers $150 and reduces the anxiety of having to find a parking space.

“So, we’re hoping that this will give people that jump start to getting the most premium parking at the airport, feeling good about the fact that it’s free and your car is safe, your into the terminal and off you go,” said Vega.

The vouchers can be redeemed from today until Sunday November 27.
