The Reward for Information in the Murder of a Midlothian Fitness Trainer Reaches $50,000

missy-beversMidlothian (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Midlothian Police Department said two donors contributed $15,000 each to an existing $20,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of Missy Bevers.

Her body was found at the Creekside Church in April, where she had just arrived for an early-morning fitness class. Police have yet to name a suspect.

According to an affidavit, a friend of Bevers said she received strange messages on her LinkedIn account. Surveillance video showed the suspected killer, dressed in SWAT gear, walking inside the church before Bevers arrived.

Investigators are hoping the increased reward will bring forth new clues.
