Alpine (WBAP/KLIF News) – As the search for Zuzu Verk, a Sul Ross University student and employee from Keller, enters its seventh day; her loved ones are still searching for answers.
Family, police and dozens of volunteers have been looking for her since she vanished in Alpine last Wednesday.
Now, the reward for information leading to the whereabouts or her safe return has reached $17,500 and authorities are asking the public to help find clues.
Alpine police posted a message on their Facebook page asking members of the community to come forward if they saw a grey 2006 Jeep Liberty and a 2004 Mazda Miata convertible with a beige top on the streets between midnight and 10:00 a.m. last Wednesday.
The Brewster County Sheriff’s Office asked area ranchers and landowners to check their properties for anything suspicious.
Verk is 5 feet tall, 110 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes. Both departments are asking anyone with information to contact their department.
