Dallas (WBAP/KLIF News) – The 15-year-old is accused of sexually assaulting a woman last month along with his accomplice, who is still at large. Dallas police said the teenager’s DNA was a match to DNA from the sexual assault.
They said the pair approached the woman around 3 a.m. September 18th near Elm Street and North Trunk Avenue and allegedly sexually assaulted her. One of them was allegedly armed and their images were captured on surveillance video.
Investigators said tips from the public and DART police led them to the teenager. He was arrested on a charge of aggravated assault and is being held at the Henry Wade Juvenile Justice Center.
Police said the second suspect has not been identified. Anyone with information is asked to call the Dallas Police Department.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $5,000.00 for information leading to an arrest.
