Dallas (WBAP/KLIF News) – A man in a wheelchair was killed while attempting to cross the street in the southeast Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas.
Dallas police said Terrence Hoskins was allegedly speeding when he ran the stop sign at East Red Bird Lane and Singing Hills Drive around 11 p.m. Friday night.
They said the car dragged the victim, identified as Steven Sims, for at least a block before it stopped. Residents said Sims was well known in the area.
Hoskins has been charged with manslaughter and is being held on a $100,000 bond.
