Dallas (WBAP/KLIF News) – A veteran Dallas police officer is under investigation after he was arrested for criminal trespassing. According to a police statement, Dallas Police Sergeant Zackary Kerr was arrested by Southlake police on Monday.
Sergeant Kerr is assigned to the Criminal Intelligence Unit and is a 26-year veteran of the Dallas Police Department. He has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
It’s the second arrest of a Dallas police officer in the last two days. Senior Corporal Jose Gamez was arrested early Sunday morning. He is accused of choking his girlfriend during an argument at the Omni Dallas Hotel.
