Wake Village (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Texas Department of Public Safety said a tip led to the arrest of convicted sex offender Robert Charles Willis at a house in Wake Village near Texarkana.
Police arrested Willis on Friday for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements in Texas and a parole violation in Arkansas. Willis was convicted in 2000 in Arkansas on three counts of sexual abuse involving three children under four years old.
DPS said the tipster that helped police arrest Willis will get a $5,000 reward.
Authorities had been looking for Willis since June. He had been living in the nearby city of DeKalb.
