Terrell (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department has identified 32-year-old Carlos Reta as the man who was found shot death at his auto shop on County Road 236 near Terrell Monday night.
Captain Fred Klingelberger said Reta’s wife discovered his body lying in a pool of blood. “It wasn’t uncommon for him to work late hours there. So, she thought he was working late and she goes in to check on him. She goes into the little office there and discovers him”, said Klingelberger.
Authorities say Reta had been shot in the head. Captain Klingelberger is asking any with information regarding Reta’s murder to contact the Kaufman County Sheriff’s Department.
