MANSFIELD (WBAP/KLIF) – Mansfield Police have released a composite of a woman who they say was murdered sometime between 1998 and 2011. The remains were found in August 2015 on private property, off Mitchell Road.
Detectives would not say how the victim was killed.
it’s believed she’s a black woman between the ages of 35 and 55. Dr. Dana Austin, Senior Forensic Anthropologist, with the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office says the composite is not meant to be a portrait, but a representation of how the woman looked before she was killed.
Detectives hope anyone who is missing a family member will come forward to help identify the victim. They say her ID could help lead to the arrest of her murderer.
