Child Left in Hot Car

Nikellie Warren 1CEDAR HILL (WBAP/KLIF) – A woman faces charges after leaving her two-year-old son in a hot car in Cedar Hill.

Police and paramedics responded to a Wal-mart near Highway 67 after a passerby noticed the toddler strapped into a car seat.

The first officer on the scene found the doors unlocked and pulled the little boy out. He’s going to be okay.

32-year-old Nikellie Warren returned about 10-minutes later. She was arrested and charged with abandoning and endangering a child with criminal negligence.

She was placed in the Tri-City jail under a $2,500 bond.
