Out on Bond, Ft, Worth Police Captain Waits for What’s Next

Humphries mugshot

Ft. Worth (WBAP/KLIF News) – Fort Worth Police Captain Daniel Humphries is out of jail, after being arraigned on a charge of intoxication assault in Euless Municipal Court.  Attorney Tim Choy says Humphries was quiet and stoic in court.“Mainly, he’s concerned about the well-being of the other person who was involved, and he’s kind of dealing with the embarrassment this is bringing to the Ft. Worth Police Department,” said Choy.

Bond was set at $15,000.  Humphries will eventually go back on restricted duty with the Fort Worth PD, while an investigation of Wednesday’s crash on Highway 121 is wrapping up.  The Tarrant County DA will take it from there.
