Parts of Dallas-Fort Worth Hit By Storms

Parking Garage 1DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Some parts of Dallas-Fort Worth received over two inches of rain when a slow-moving storm system moved across the area Monday night.

High water was reported at a number of locations.

The facade of a downtown Dallas parking garage collapsed. A billboard fell onto a parked car near Central Expressway and Fitzhugh. No serious injuries were reported.

A 55-mile per hour gust of wind was recorded in Arlington. But, some areas didn’t see any rain at all.

At the peak of the storms “Oncor” reported over 20,000 customers without power.
