FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – The mother of so-called affluenza teen Ethan Couch faces charges herself.
“There is a gag order on the case, so I can only basically confirm the publicly filed information,” said Sam Jordan with the Tarrant County DA’s Office.
Jordan did say Couch is charged with hindering the apprehension of a felon, and with money laundering. The charges stem from her helping her son run off to Mexico to elude arrest, and using $30,000 with which to do it.
Jordan says a date and time for an arraignment hearing has not been set.
