AUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF) – A Texan is on Donald Trump’s list of people he’d nominate to be on the U-S Supreme Court if elected.
Texas supreme court justice Don Willet was one of 11 people named by the presumptive republican nominee.
He cited Willet’s years of legal experience and his conservative thinking.
Willet was appointed to the top court in Texas in 2005 by then governor Rick Perry and has been reelected twice.
In a statement, Willet said he’s honored to be considered, but offered little indication whether he’d be open to serving on the high court.
