West Fertilizer Plant Explosion in 2013 Was Criminal Act

West-Blast-1WEST (WBAP/KLIF) – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives has ruled that the West Fertilizer Plant explosion in 2013 was a criminal act.

15 people, including a dozen first responders, were killed during the incident. According to the ATF more than 400 people have been interviewed and they have several leads in the case.

The agency is offering at $50,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest. The Waco-McLennan County Crimestoppers is also offering at $2,000 reward. Tips can be submitted online at www.wacocrimestoppers.org or at 254-573-4357.
