FORT WORTH ( WBAP/KLIF ) – Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is demanding the resignation of the Fort Worth school superintendent.
Kent Scribner recently approved policies that, among other things, require the district to offer transgender students access to single-stall restrooms.
Patrick thinks that’s wrong and is calling on parents who support his views to show up at Tuesday night’s school board meeting to voice their displeasure.
Top Texas republicans have recently vowed to fight to keep men out of women’s restrooms.
Fort Worth has 86,000 students attending 146-schools in the district.
