(WBAP/KLIF) – After a key loss in the Indiana Republican primary Tuesday, Senator Ted Cruz of Texas has dropped out of the 2016 White House race.
“From the beginning, I’ve said I would continue on as long as there was a viable path to victory,” Cruz told supporters in Indiana. “Tonight, I’m sorry to say it appears that path has been foreclosed.”
He told the crowd, which was screaming out cries of ‘No!’ that they gave it everything they had.
Cruz said while he is suspending his campaign he is not suspending his fight for liberty.
