DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Police in Dallas are investigating a stabbing at “Tent City.”
Officers were dispatched around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday to the homeless encampment under Interstate 45 near Malcolm X Boulevard.
Details of the incident haven’t been released, but the department said on Twitter that a man was taken to Baylor Hospital.
His condition wasn’t disclosed.
A person has been arrested.
The city is in the process of clearing out the encampment, which was home to more than 250 people.
“Tent City” is expected to be shut down by May 4.
