DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The City of Dallas is thinking about privatizing Fair Park.
Walt Humann has been chosen by Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings to operate the Park if the proposal is approved. Humann says the first step is getting Dallas voters to approve a $25 million package to improve Fair Park buildings.
“If we work together as a team, I believe they will be convinced that this is the crown jewel of the region. And that doing nothing is not an option.”
The Dallas City Council will have final approval on if the plan moves forward and if it will eventually goes to the voters.
