COMMERCE (WBAP/KLIF News) – The bomb squad from the Garland Police Department is headed to Texas A&M University at Commerce to investigate a suspicious package.
Police Lieutenant Pedro Barineau explains his department assists other departments when suspicious packages are found.
“We go out there to determine if the package is in fact a bomb. We’ll utilize our tools to diagnose the package and if there’s anything found, then they will render it safe.”
The package was found in the campus library.
