HOPKINS COUNTY, TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Eleven horses are being cared for after they were found abandoned in northeast Texas
Maura Davies with the SPCA of Texas says one of the horses is badly injured and it’s not clear if it’ll survive.
“There are many of the others that, even from pictures look to me like they just need a whole lot of care to get them back into good health.”
The horses were found on property in Hopkins County. Davies says the owner has been found and could be charged.
