PLANO – Golf ball sized hail pelted Denton and Collin Counties this week, and many homeowners may not even know their roofs are damaged. Mark Hanna with the Insurance Council of Texas says, “The storm damage appears to have been on a line that included Plano, Wylie and Sachse.” Estimated insured losses from this week’s storm will take several days to reach an assessment of the total damage incurred. Thousands of car windows and sky lights were also knocked out. Jennifer Harris with GEICO in Plano said customer service agents have been inundated with calls since the storm hit.
