PLANO (WBAP/KLIF) – Residents across a wide swath of North Texas are out again surveying damage from storms.
Rain, gusty winds, hail and the threat of tornadoes swept from west to east Wednesday night.
The slow moving system tracked across Colleyville, Grapevine, Coppell, Carrollton and Plano. It started a little before 10 o’clock.
At one point about 10,000 homes and businesses were without power.
Hundreds of cars and trucks had their windshields and rear windows knocked out. A number of homes had roof damage and some lost skylights. It appears Plano took the biggest hit.
Fortunately, no serious injuries have been reported.
