DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Gas prices are up nearly two dimes over the past week.
The statewide average for a gallon of regular unleaded has jumped to $1.81, according to AAA Texas.
The pump price is about a penny higher in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The national average is $1.95.
Analysts for the auto club say increasing oil prices and an oversupply of fuel in storage is driving prices higher.
Crude oil futures are trading at $39 per barrel.
