DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A new veteran’s facility is open in north Dallas to help members of the military readjust to civilian life after being deployed.
The center is near Royal Lane and Greenville Avenue and isn’t just for younger veterans. Lou Hyatt served in the Navy during Vietnam and he has advice for other veterans.
“The best thing they can do, if they think they’re having any kind of issues, they need to come here and talk about it with someone who’s a professional.”
He adds he never thought he would need to get help from a facility like this.
