3 Arrested in Cock-Fighting Bust in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) Three men are behind bars following a cock fighting bust in southeast Fort Worth. A 911 call led animal control officers to a warehouse, where they found nearly two dozen people and even more roosters. They seized 39 living animals and several dead ones that were discovered in the fighting area. Neighbor Lamar Brown told WFAA the fights had been happening every weekend. Several people ran away, but officers were able to arrest three men, two of which were reported to be sitting on the bed of a pickup, preparing roosters for fighting.
