There are 9 DFW area WELS Lutheran Churches and one in Scroggins that bring you this message every week. You can click on the icons below to find out more about these churches. They are also members of a national church body called WELS. It is an acronym for Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod. However, each congregation has its own identity and various ministries. We are confident that you will find a home at each one.
Our national church body consists of nearly 400,000 men, women, and children in 1,300 congregations across the United States and Canada united by a common faith in Christ’s saving love. We are committed to a common calling – encouraging each other in our faith and sharing God’s gift of a Savior with the rest of the world. We also operate missions and support missionaries on 6 continents and nearly 40 countries.
God’s Words of Hope is a collective effort by these churches to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the people of our area. It’s through this gospel and faith in Jesus that we are saved.
