Team of Four Works Hard to Bring North Richland Hills it’s First Brewery

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (WBAP/KLIF)- The first brewery in North Richland Hills is set to open this May. Eric Johnson founder of Brutal Beer Works said the mid-cities area lacks breweries and is excited to bring it to North Richland Hills. “There’s several in Dallas and Fort worth and in the mid cities area there’s only one…we’re trying to bridge that gap for the people in between Dallas and Fort Worth,” Johnson said.

Johnson said he’s thrilled with the City’s support and hopes this will attract more visitors. “Any area you see a new brewery come in there’s so many new eclectic businesses that pop up, we’re in a great area next, a lot of foot traffic near TCC and apartments,” Johnson said.

Johnson said currently, a team of four, who still have their day jobs work at the brewery during nights to get it open on time. He says once opened and running, they will become full-time employees.

It’ll be located at 8447 Boulevard 26, minutes away from Tarrant County College North East Campus.
