DALLAS – Home price appreciation maybe slowing down a bit, but that doesn’t mean folks aren’t making good money when it comes to selling their home.
In the DFW area, the average profit on a house sold is $78,865, according to a recent study by Attom Data Solutions. One of the factors leading to such high profits is that most people selling have been in or owned the house for over 8 years, on average.
Profits in DFW are miniscule compared to what some folks are seeing in California. In San Jose, the average profit on a house is $593,000.
