Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – A Dallas man has been charged in the fatal stabbing of his toddler son and wounding of his wife Saturday night.
35-Brandon Demone Edwards was charged with capital murder and aggravated assault.
The woman ran from their Red Bird apartment with their 7-year old daughter who was not injured.
A witness told police that she heard a commotion, and saw Edwards, who was wearing only a pair of boxer shorts, try to leave the apartment from a second story window, yelling that he was going to die before dropping into pushes below.
Police chased him down as he tried to run off. no word on what led to the disturbance.
