Dallas High School Student Dies in Car Accident on the way to school

A 16 year old Kimball High School student was killed and 3 other teens were injured in a car crash Wednesday morning.

Police say Deisy Torres, was pronounced dead at the scene after being ejected from a car. Three other teenagers in that car were taken to the hospital and had broken bones.

According to Dallas fire rescue two vehicles were involved in the crash and one rolled over. It happened at the intersection of South Westmoreland road and West Illinois Avenue. The other students injuries range from non life threatening to serious.

Robyn Harris with Dallas ISD said they have resources available and guidance counselors for students to talk to  during this tragedy.
