Irving (WBAP/KLIF) – Irving Police have arrested an undocumented teenager for the armed robbery of several customers at a local restaurant. Patrons of Costeno’s Restaurant on Grauwyler Road were held up by three armed men Friday night.
The bandits took their money, jewelry, cellphones and other valuables, then drove off in one of their cars. One of the victims chased them, but gave up when the bandits began shooting at him.
The stolen car was later found in northwest Dallas. Police say they’ve caught one of the bandits,18 year old Kevin Castaneda, and know who the others are. T
hey’re looking for them now.
Castaneda is in jail, charged with three counts of armed robbery and immigration violations.
