North Texas Snubbed in List of “Happiest Cities” in the U.S.

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – National Geographic has come out with its list of the happiest places in the country.

North Texas was snubbed, with not one city making the list. There wasn’t a whole lot of love for the state of Texas, in general, with only one city making the list.

The Austin-Round Rock area came in at No. 25. The area was praised for the fact that its citizens seem to have a great sense of community, rock-solid finances and according to the article, the people there seemed to have a rather purposeful outlook on life.

The happiest city in the country  was said to be Boulder, Colorado, followed by Santa Cruz, California and Charlottesville, Virginia.
