San Antonio (WBAP/KLIF) – Officials in San Antonio are blasting the Centers for Disease Control and prevention after its admitted missteps with a possible coronavirus patient.
The patient was mistakenly released from a health care facility before a pending lab test came back positive. The woman reportedly had contact with others before being returned to isolation.

San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenburg said in part, “The fact that the CDC allowed the public to be exposed to a patient with a positive COVID-19 reading is unacceptable.”
Officials are trying to determine who the woman may have interacted with; she was among several Americans evacuated from Wuhan, China last month.
