ALLEN – WBAP/KLIF – Allen Police say one man is dead and three others in custody after shots were fired at 505 East Exchange Parkway at the Gates at Allen Station apartment community.
Police say shots were fired during the lunch hour, which prompted a 9 1 1 call with officers reporting seeing four people trying to get away in a black sedan. Police assert the four came to that location to purchase illegal drugs. They say an argument led to the shooting of the one person who died, 39 year old Ryan Joseph Kelly.
A fourth person escaped arrest and police seek details on who this suspect may be. Arrested; 32 year old Richard Anthony Valentine and 22 year old Leroy Alvin Walls of Dallas. Police indicate the third arrested suspect was questioned and released.
