DFW property taxes continue to be some of the highest in the country.
The average nationwide home property tax bill is just under $3,500.
In Collin county, the average was over $7,500. Denton and Dallas counties weren’t too far behind with an average just under $7,000.
According to Attom Data Solutions, Texas only trailed Illinois and New Jersey in average home property taxes.
