The city of Fort Worth will use FWISD property to improve to traffic in the Cultural District.
Motorists have been dealing with with long traffic signals and increased congestion due to rapid growth in the west end and Fort Worth will be building a new road a new road at Trail Avenue and University Drive.
The extension runs North and South and will cut through Farrington Stadium property and connect Trail Drive with with Lancaster Avenue bypassing lengthy traffic lights.
Area business owners will meet with the city Monday night at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens to discuss the project.
