Arlington (WBAP/KLIF) – Arlington Police are advising motorists that traffic is likely to be a mess this Sunday afternoon as the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys each are at home in their nearly side-by-side stadia. The Rangers play the New York Yankees at 2:00 PM. The Dallas Cowboys open their NFL season at 7:00 PM. Not only does that mean football fans could be trying to get into their parking lots just as the baseball fans are trying to leave, but construction has closed a portion of the Nolan Ryan Expressway, reducing the number of entrances and exits. Arlington Police say patience is the key. There will be a lot of traffic. The infrastructure will be maxed out. There will be problems.
