Mesquite _WBAP/KLIF) A shoplifting suspect who ran from police in Mesquite lead them on a wild, high speed chase from there, through Dallas, and back again. During the Thursday afternoon rush hour pursuit Joe Sanchez allegedly hit speeds of 90 miles an hour, and drove the wrong way into oncoming traffic. He was finally caught and arrested when he ran out of gas.
Sanchez’ passenger, Marlon Duran, bailed out of his truck about halfway through the chase, and has also been arrested.
