MANSFIELD (WBAP/KLIF News) – One or more persons are impersonating police officers in North Texas.
Reports of a fake cop came out of Rowlett on Friday.
Since then, the Mansfield and Grand Prairie police departments have been investigating similar complaints, but apparently not the same suspect.
The impersonator in Rowlett was described as a balding white man in his 30s.
The man who robbed victims in Mansfield and Grand Prairie after passing himself off as an officer was described as a slender black man of average height and build.
