DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – Nearly 50 people gathered for a public forum in south Dallas Tuesday to discuss ways to mend relations between law enforcement and the community.
The meeting was called “Let’s Act” and was designed for both police and citizens to listen to each other and engage in a productive conversation.
The forum was moderated by Dallas City Councilman Casey Thomas and a panel of five members, including two police representatives.
The discussion coming from people in south Dallas included conversation of police accountability, respect for law enforcement and setting a good example for children.
