DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The City of Dallas has shutdown another tent city.
The latest homeless encampment to be closed was under Interstate 45 near Coombs Street, just south of downtown.
More than 100 people stayed there.
Plastic barriers have been put up to keep people off the state-owned property and police said they will step up patrols in the area.
A commission on the homeless in Dallas is expected to present its first report to council next month.
