DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) A Garland woman is grateful to Dallas police after becoming a victim in last week’s shooting. The mother of 4 was walking in what she thought was going to be a peaceful rally, when suddenly, shots rang out. That’s when she saw an officer go down, as he yelled “He has a gun – run!” Shetamia Taylor told WFAA her 4 sons headed the warning. Taylor is recovering at home but says she believes it was one of the officers killed who warned her about the shooter, possibly also saving the lives of her children.
