Chuck E. Cheese is bringing its Adventure World indoor playground concept to Plano, with state records showing the Irving-based company plans to open a location at 801 W. 15th St.
A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows the project would convert an existing mercantile space into an 18,000-square-foot indoor playground. The filing lists an estimated construction cost of $850,000, with work scheduled to begin September 7 and wrap up by December 7, 2026, according to WFAA’s review of the state filing.
The Plano location would be the second Chuck E. Cheese Adventure World in North Texas, and, at 18,000 square feet, notably larger than the first. The Arlington Adventure World, which opened November 13, 2025, at 1536 W. Interstate 20, clocks in at 12,000 square feet, according to the company’s official announcement.
As previously reported by The Dallas Express, Chuck E. Cheese launched the Adventure World concept as a standalone active-play destination separate from its traditional arcade-and-pizza format.
The company bills Adventure World as a standalone indoor playground experience aimed at children ages 3 to 8. Parents can enter the multi-story play structure alongside their kids, with no height restrictions barring adult participation. The Arlington location features multilevel climbing structures, slides, tunnels, a toddler zone, a dance floor, and a giant video wall, per the company’s Arlington location page.
All-day admission at the Arlington location runs $19.99 per child, with two free parent admissions included. Birthday party packages start at $99.99 for six children. Chuck E. Cheese has not published pricing for the Plano location.
The Plano project is one of several national Adventure World expansions the company has announced for 2026, according to Local Profile. Chuck E. Cheese’s existing Plano family entertainment center operates at 1604 Preston Road, making the planned 801 West 15th St. venue a separate standalone site.
The project remains subject to construction completion and any applicable local permitting.
