Although he refrained from mentioning Donald Trump by name, his remarks highlighted concerns over the Supreme Court’s decision granting Trump immunity from criminal liability for efforts to overturn the 2020 election results.

The president further criticized social media platforms for scaling back fact-checking measures, attributing much of the public’s dissatisfaction with his administration to widespread misinformation online.
