FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF) – A man is in jail and a female hostage safe after a lengthy standoff with police in Frisco.
It happened at the Cool Springs at Frisco Bridges apartments. That’s on Parkwood near Stonebriar mall.
Police responded Tuesday night to welfare check. When they arrived a man was holding the victim against her will but wouldn’t surrender.
Residents in nearby units were evacuated.
“SWAT” team Negotiators were called in, and seven hours later the suspect gave up. The woman is safe.
Cops are preparing a long list of charges against 32-year-old Fredrich Henry. He was taken to the Frisco city jail.
