DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Dallas City Council’s Quality of Life Committee plans to discuss how to regulate shopping cart thefts.
Several homeowners have complained about the number of shopping carts left in their alleys, vacant lots and yards.
The stores in those areas said they send out crews to sweep the neighborhoods and gather up the stolen carts.
The city has two possible courses of action: repeal the current ordinances regulating shopping cart theft and pass new regulations, or it can leave things as they are.
