DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police Chief David Brown is asking the organizer of the protest that led up to the July 7th police killings to no longer hold demonstrations in Downtown Dallas.
This was after organizer Dominique Alexander requested a meeting with the chief.
In a statement, Chief Brown asked for further protests to be held in locations more tactically advantageous to officers’ safety.
The statement goes on to say police will not interfere with a lawful and peaceful assembly of individuals and groups.
