ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Texas Department of Transportation will close a section of Interstate 20 in Arlington overnight.
It’ll last from 9:00 p.m. Thursday through 6:00 a.m. Friday.
Crews are building a new Center Street bridge.
TxDOT said the closure affects a portion between Matlock Road and Collins Street.
Drivers will be rerouted to the frontage roads, and can cross I-20 using FM 157/Cooper Street.
TxDOT is working with the City of Arlington to build the four-lane bridge with a sidewalk from Center Street on the northside to Bardin Road.
The bridge should be completed later this year.
